The St Dunstans Golf Club was established in 1994 by St Dunstaners Arthur Carter and Des Chandler, as part of the Rehabilitation of Blind Ex-Servicemen & Women in regaining and improving their Independence, Moral, Confidence and Self-esteem.
 
A crucial part of the Rehabilitation process is to build and sustain Confidence and Self-esteem. The St Dunstans Golf Club has enabled Blinded ex-Servicemen and Woman to regain their dignity and self respect. Golf, enjoyed by millions, encourages our members to actively participate with fellow Golfers Worldwide.
 
The commitment and enthusiasm of our Golfing Club Members is reflected in their Golfing Achievements. Our current Golf Club Membership includes:

A Triple World Blind Champion,

British Blind Open Champions

and British Blind Masters Champions.

To watch our Blind and Maimed Golfers (some of our Members have lost more than their eyesight), playing with freedom, enthusiasm, skill and confidence in their ability to enjoying this great Game we call Golf. To watch them is a tremendously uplifting experience and difficult to imagine just how this experience feels.
